Colucci Residence

This 2943 square foot 2-story custom home built for the Colucci family exemplifies environmentally conscious building practices and offers clean and efficient characteristics. This highly efficient home is built using Structural Insulated Panels (SIPs) on top of slab on grade, is heated with radiant heating throughout, and uses unique Contemporary finishes such as stainless steel posts, raised metal and concrete siding, and steel stairwells to create an environmentally responsible and unique home. The Colucci’s were integral in the building and design process and helped source or provided many of the materials and provided ‘sweat equity’ as well. This home is an example of the quality of building that can be accomplished on a limited budget and in an environmentally responsible fashion.
